How to enable Cookies and Javascript in Internet Explorer
Cookies
Enabling cookies in Internet Explorer 6
1. Select the 'Tools' menu at the top of your screen
2. Select 'Internet Options...'
3. Select the 'Privacy' tab
4. Click on the 'Advanced...' button
5. Tick the 'Override automatic cookie handling' box
6. Under 'First-party Cookies' select 'Accept'.
7. Under 'Third-party Cookies' select 'Accept'.
8. Tick the 'Always allow session cookies' box.
9. Click 'OK' then 'OK' again
Enabling cookies in Internet Explorer 5 & 5.5
1. Select the 'Tools' menu at the top of your screen
2. Select 'Internet Options...'
3. Select the 'Security' tab
4. Click on the 'Custom Level' button
5. Scroll down to the section called 'Cookies'
6. Verify that 'Enable' is selected.
7. Click 'OK' then 'OK' again
Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 6
1. Select the 'Tools' menu at the top of your screen
2. Select 'Internet Options...'
3. Select the 'Security' tab
4. From the list of zones at the top of the security options select
the 'Internet' icon
5. Click on the 'Custom Level' button
6. Scroll down to 'Active scripting' and verify 'Enable' is selected.
7. Click 'OK' then 'OK' again
Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 5 & 5.5
1. Select the 'Tools' menu at the top of your screen
2. Select 'Internet Options...'
3. Select the 'Security' tab
4. Click on the 'Custom Level' button
5. Scroll down to 'Active scripting' and verify 'Enable' is selected.
7. Click 'Yes' if prompted
8. Click 'OK' to close the second window
9. If this instructions window is still open, close it and click
the refresh button on your browser toolbar.
